1. What are Suppression Lists? #

Suppression Lists are suppression contact lists.

You can use this suppress list when creating your marketing campaign or funnel. Once added to a campaign or funnel, all email addresses inside the suppress list will be excluded from the mailing list by the system.

Blocked contacts list is Optional features (Can be used or not used) , can be added to your specific email marketing campaign in step 6 of this guide: Instructions for sending marketing emails using vimail “Broadcasts”

Example use case for block list:

You have:

• – A list of potential customers interested in your product
• – 1 list of customers who have purchased your products

You want to send marketing emails to your potential customers but you don't want to send these emails to customers who have already purchased. This is where the suppression list comes in. You need to add the list of potential customers as a contact list and the list of customers who have purchased the product as a suppression list so that the system will automatically exclude emails from customers who have purchased this product from sending emails.

2. Steps to create a block list #

Step 1. Access https://my.vimail.vn/ and follow the instructions #

Step 2. Add the necessary information #

1. Enter a name for the block list
2. Choose how you will import the block list

Method 1. You can enter manually or copy-paste each email address 1 line

Method 2. You can upload a data file containing one line of each email address to the system.

3. Enter manually or copy-paste each email address 1 line

4. Once done, press 4 to upload your block list

Step 3. A block list will be created on the home page. #

You can edit the name of the block list here.

Note: Currently, it is not possible to edit the block list after creating it, so customers need to manually save the block list for future use.
